This watercolor depicts Gospa od Škrpjela -Ledy of the rocks, an artificial island created over the centuries by sinking stones around the reef where, according to legend, an icon of the Virgin Mary was found. A church from the 17th century and cypress trees are reflected in the calm waters of the Bokoa Kotor Bay, protected by high mountains.
This is a motif that attracts many painters, incredible beauty.
