Original artwork description
The artist went to Makoto Sakamoto’s concert at the Teufelsberg Dome in Berlin during the end of Autumn 2022. Whilst listening to the music, he was hit with a strong desire to paint, and used four colours from some graffiti nearby as the starting point; dark cyan blue, lime yellow, dark green, light cyan green. However the influence of the trees shrouded in fog, the crispness of the light, along with the leaves on the ground directed the work, in form and colour, to become layered and subtracted.
Whilst undertaking the works in this series the artist would think of a motif, or feel the emotion he was feeling. To observe how these thoughts and feelings would change the process and the piece.
