"Lean Where You Can" - acrylic on cradled wood panel, 12 x 1 2 x .75. Ready to hang (Sides are painted; no need to frame. Back has been pre-wired for hanging)
Do not be too fierce,
little one.
The hard shell breaks.
Yield a little,
little one.
Lean where you can.
Not compromise - your steel
will flash still-
but it brings nothing
to be broken
against the heart, it
leaves a bleak room
and dry tears
nothing more to do.
