Original artwork description:

Le port d'Hammamet (Tunisie)

From the Medina of Hammamet, it is easy to reach the old harbor, where colorful traditional fishing boats rest.
Here, the air is thick with the scent of fresh fish and the oil of aging, sputtering engines.
The weary boats, too tired to sail, lie upon the shore beneath a setting sun painted in radiant hues.

In this piece, I have captured the vibrant soul of the coast through deep, bold colors, echoing the spirit of Fauvism and Impressionism.
Oil paints allowed me to blend the tones so the blazing sky mirrors itself in the restless sea, creating a striking contrast with the stillness of the boats.
This painting is a celebration of light and color, crafted to bring the harbor’s energy and serenity into your home.
