This piece was inspired by reflections on how illusions shape our perception of reality. I was drawn to the idea that what we see doesn’t always reflect the truth. The use of paper and layered textures symbolizes the fragility and complexity of human perception. The face in the painting is a composite image, emerging like a memory or a feeling from within.
