This botanical watercolor was painted specially for the exhibition "Plants of the Different Countries", which takes place in the Botanical Garden of Moscow.
The painting depicts a branch of the noble laurel in detail. Many legends and traditions are associated with this plant. Also, laurel is a spicy plant that is widely used in cooking.
