I was back in our cottage in Touraine (Loire Valley) France mid June, we arrived in hot weather which soon broke and I was delighted when the sky cleared and I was able to get out in the vineyard where I love to paint. This is a plein air oil painting from the vineyard looking west across the River Cher to the fields and village beyond.
