- Last Light at Durdle Door
Artwork description
Bathed in the warm glow of sunset, Durdle Door rises from the calm waters of Dorset’s Jurassic Coast, its unmistakable limestone arch framed by sweeping cliffs and the curve of the shoreline.
Soft shades of peach, pink and gold stretch across the evening sky, reflecting gently on the sea below. The last light catches the surrounding cliffs and grasses, bringing warmth and depth to one of England’s most iconic coastal landscapes.
There’s a wonderful sense of stillness here — a familiar Dorset landmark captured in a quieter, more peaceful moment as day gives way to dusk.
Part of my Dorset collection, this photograph celebrates the dramatic coastline I call home and the fleeting moments of light that can make even the most familiar places feel extraordinary.
