Fairy tale therapy

This is one of the methods of psychology that helps in solving traumatic experiences.

Fairytale therapy is based on the idea that fairy tales have a great power of influence on the human psyche. They can be used to evoke certain emotions and thoughts, as well as to help change negative beliefs and establish new, positive views of the world.

The famous Ukrainian work "Kateryna" by Shevchenko, in the plot of which, due to the unfortunate fate of his heroine, the author reveals the social roots of the tragedy in the society of that time and expresses a protest not only against the conservative way of life, superstitions and unkind people, but also against the existing system.

embodying the power of fairy-tale therapy in a new plot, I illustrate various stages of transformation of the main character.

The first element of the triptych depicts a girl under the influence of fairy-tale therapy. She is wrapped in a white cloth, which symbolizes her transformation and liberation from limitations. Under this cover, she feels the birth of a new world, where possibilities are endless and dreams become reality.

The second picture depicts a girl who came out to meet her true strength. She holds the boy's hand, symbolizing her familiarity with inner potential and the courage to step forward. The hands connecting them express connection and movement towards a new story.

In the third picture, the boy kisses the girl's hand, indicating a relationship. This kiss expresses the respect, love and support that exists between them.

The red threads that cross between their hands in each painting symbolize the power of love and the destinies that intertwine their paths.

In addition, it is worth noting that in this revised story, the heroine changed her personal experience and became "free" - formed moral values, overcame her fears, limitations and naivety.

History is no longer traumatic, but the opposite. She became a symbol of self-determination and self-acceptance, showing that
in the world, you can change the negative insinuations and grow a powerful personality. This story invites you to look at your own experiences from a new perspective, changing your experience into something positive and refreshing.

"There are people in the world -
They shine with silver and gold.."
