Artwork description:

In late Spring on the upper Pennines the tulips flower and the lapwings return and pair up. It doesn't take much to put them up into the air, swooping and calling. This print is a combination of lino, screen printing and mono printing techniques and is hand printed. In theory this is one of a limited edition of 30 but in reality the variations and changes of ideas mean the print shown is actually one of just three prints that are the same.

Printed on 300 grm acid free paper in water based and oil based inks and mounted in Ice White. For buyers in the UK my prints are all mounted ready to drop into standard size, readily available frames. This particular print fits a 50x50 frame from Habitat. This frame was available online for £35 when I last checked. Search Habitat dark birch 50x50 picture frame. The aim is to make it easy for you to get the picture on your wall and to keep the costs of buying and displaying original artworks as low as possible. The prints are packaged in cellophane, bubble wrap and protected by a reinforced cardboard envelope. Outside the UK postage costs make it too expensive to send large mounted prints so the 50x50 prints are delivered rolled in a tube.

Materials used:

water based screen and block printing inks and oil based printing ink
