Original artwork description
One of my favourite coastal walks is to Lantic Bay from either Polperro or Polruan on the Cornish coast path. With this painting I'm approaching from the east, although you can't really see the beach until you're on the cliff high above it, so there's some artistic licence here. I wanted to capture the wildflowers that add so much colour to the scene from April to July each year.
I've used acrylic on an upcycled canvas, painted the sides white, varnished the painting and strung the back so it's ready to hang and won't need a frame.
It measures 100cm x 40cm x 2cm so is big enough to be the statement piece in any room.
I’ve signed the back and it will be sent with a signed certificate of authenticity but please let me know if you would like it signed on the front and I’ll be happy to do so.
