Original artwork description
Monocromathic series - Yellow
The VII Period of Bruno Di Pietro also emerges from the revisitation and evolution of some of the fundamental themes developed during the II Period, including the representation of the tree, a recurring and deeply symbolic element in the artist’s research.
In Di Pietro’s artistic language, the tree is never merely a natural element, but becomes a metaphor for existence: a symbol of growth, memory, rootedness, and continuous transformation. Through this presence, the artist explores the relationship between humanity and nature, between the earthly and the spiritual dimensions, between the passage of time and the mystery of origin.
Throughout the VII Period, almost all of the works are characterized by this renewed interpretation of the tree theme, which is progressively transformed into a symbolic and material structure capable of merging painting, sculpture, and conceptual exploration. Nature thus becomes a place of transition, a meeting point between the visible and invisible worlds, in harmony with the reflection on the concept of Borders: the boundary understood as a threshold toward new dimensions.
