Artwork description:

The vivid green mountains on the Isle of Skye taken early in the morning when the new dawn was breaking and shooting light all across the landscape. The pools of water lit up like mirrors and the fabulous texture of these ancient hills is picked out in layers of black stone.

This area on Skye is filled with dramatic peaks, the movies BFG, Macbeth and Highlander were filmed here. A landscape of ancient times, when the earth was moving in great folds and volcanic eruptions were shaping the world. To say this is the land of giants is not just a myth and legend, nearby on our local beach we have footprints from some of the enormous dinosaurs that roamed the area hundreds of thousands of years ago.

Available in other sizes and on paper.

About My Work
