Original artwork description:
On a warm late spring afternoon, I came across this lovely lake which was partially surrounded with trees and bushes and gorse.
I decided to stop and sketch it, but back at my forest studio, I decided it needed colour and texture. Many of the leaves are made with thick textural paint.
This is the result, an original oil painting measuring 12” x 16” unframed.
It is signed and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
