Rarely do I paint seascapes,so I decided before commencing this scene that I wanted to paint a scene with a particular luminosity to create drama. It's almost a surreal seascape as you're unlikely to see such a sight in real life. That's what makes this painting so unique,as it's not a simple true to life.
