I painted my first collection of birds in the Alla Prima style in Ukraine in January 2025 during a blackout.
The lack of electricity did not stop me because I am Ukrainian.

This painting is done with dry pastel on professional French pastel paper.

I painted this picture in February 2026, I painted again without light, but with the thought in my heart of a safe future in a free country.
