A nostalgic still life where fabric, light, and memory intertwine. Lacy Still Life (2009) reflects the intimacy of domestic quiet: a brass teapot, a glass bottle, and a small ornamental gourd — all gently veiled by lace and filtered light. The painting captures the quiet poetry of ordinary things, moments that feel both timeless and fleeting.

The acrylic layers build a soft yet dynamic texture, emphasizing transparency and reflection. The patterned lace background creates rhythm and depth, contrasting with the solid stillness of the objects.
