The work is the author's copy by the artist Antoio Mele of the famous The Capture of Christ of Edinburgh by Michelangelo Merisi called Caravaggio. The work is made of oil and pigments on an ancient canvas. The work was done using ancient hemp towel and pictorial techniques by mixing oil with natural pigments. The painting is mounted on a professional sturdy wooden chassis.
