This painting captures the spirit of Kontraktova Square — once a bustling center of trade, culture, and community in the heart of historic Kyiv.

Through confident, expressive brushstrokes, I reimagine the vanished beauty of buildings that no longer stand, evoking not only their physical presence but the stories and people behind them. Each stroke breathes life into the past, honoring the architects and dreamers who shaped the city’s soul.
