This painting is part of the Kodaikanal series. Kodaikanal is a hill station in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu and is a popular tourist destination. I was completely enchanted by the city during my first visit there, some twelve years back. Last year I re-visited the place with the specific intention of taking as many photographs as I could in a couple of days and using the same as reference for painting, after I got back to my studio.

Kodaikanal lake in twilight with the reflections in water was magical with the light sinking every second and I had to paint it.

The painting is signed on the front and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.

Please note that the colors of the original painting may slightly vary from what they appear here, although best efforts are made to capture the colors as close to the original, as possible.

The painting is on stretched canvas and will be securely packed in a cardboard box
