- King penguins at Punta Arenas
Original artwork description
Went to South America for a month. Punta Arenas is the most southern point we went and to see king penguins are on top of our list. It was a day of long bus rides, ferry crossings over Magellan strait, walking in freezing wind although it was spring. But to see the king penguins in their natural habitat is definitely worth the trip. Luckily some of the chicks were gradually losing their fluffy furs and we got to see some wearing fluffy collars, some wearing fluffy vest, very cute 🥰
