I seem to have a thing about hills! I'm loving this series of bear paintings, another cheerful bear is sitting on his hill of collage looking very pleased with himself!

This painting was a journey and I started it by putting collage all over the canvas then began to block it out with a wonderfully sunny yellow which is why you can still see traces of the collage underneath and the texture of the collage papers can be glimpsed in certain lights.

King of the Hill has been painted on a large H36 x W24 inch stretched canvas with acrylic paints and hand made collage papers, I've used gloss gel and sealed it with satin varnish, It has been framed in a black tray frame and the edges are painted hot pink so you can catch a glimpse of pink as you walk past.

This is a fun statement piece of art made to bring joy and smiles to your every day life.
