Original artwork description:

This work is a painterly evocation of the atmosphere of the jungle, where there are both hidden places and light coming in.  The looseness of the brushstrokes makes the artwork more abstracted and free and also allows for the viewer to feel transported into the grasses of the jungle.  It's unclear whether the right hand side is light or water coming in, or whether the deepest olive greens around the centre point are the deeper parts of the jungle or even a cave, which would mean there are also themes of hibernation and protection: this is for the observer to interpret. 

This work was painted with the highest grade professional oil paints on a top quality, deep set canvas and will be set ready to hang.
