Mont Mézenc, seen from the Boutières circus, Massif Central, France
The Boutières circus represents what remains of the crater of an ancient volcano, then ruined by glacial erosion which created a vast amphitheater.
This landscape is painted “alla prima”, with lively and spontaneous brushstrokes to attempt to capture the momentary effects of sunlight , the movement and the atmosphere.
/!\ Please note that this painting will be shipped rolled without stretcher frame (not ready to hang).
Materials used:
This painting is painted with professional grade oil colors on a primed canvas. I prepare myself my canvases to create a texture specific to my painting needs and to insure them maximum longevity.
