When I drive into the desert and the Joshua Trees begin to show forth, there is a silly, and wonderfully weird change to the landscape. Each one seems to be a character standing, arms in various positions, singing to the sky. They look so joyful no matter how hot it is and they are spread out as though they each need room to dance.
It is made with acrylic and pen on canvas.
