Plein air oil painting on cotton duck 20" x 20". I have been painting at Broadstairs the last two weeks, there are 7 bays some with amazing cliffs; this painting from 22nd August is Joss Bay a lovely sandy beach, the day was hot and humid with a very dark sky for most of the morning, blue sky breaking through towards lunch time and high tide.
