This is a portrait of John Lydon, best known as Johnny Rotten, lead vocalist of the punk rock band the Sex Pistols. His fashion style, his personality, and pretty much all of the punk aesthetics are so interesting to me. I find a lot in common between the lavish fashion of the punk movement and the trending design of the past centuries in history, similarly marked by excess and extravagance. I’m often inspired by the difficulty that human nature has in keeping life simple, including my own self.
