Original artwork description
I started this abstract portrait with energetic marks using a variety of brushes and tools. I then layered blues, greens, and hints of warm orange to create a luminous surface. I wanted the face to feel timeless and contemplative, with a presence that feels both fragile and strong. The textures and brushstrokes bring subtle movement, while the direct eyes invite the viewer to linger. This is one of those pieces that holds silence and mystery, a balance I love to explore in my contemporary figurative work.
