Artwork description
this artwork is part of a series exploring forms, structures and textures of airplanes, in a graphic and highly contrasted way...
Seen from beneath, the aircraft transforms into a monumental structure of curves, steel and symmetry.
The extreme perspective dissolves its familiar function and turns the machine into an almost architectural form — a cathedral of engineering suspended above the viewer.
In black and white, the image reduces the object to light, texture and geometry, revealing the quiet beauty hidden within industrial design.
it is printed directly on an aluminium dibond support which consists of a black polyethylene core, sandwiched between 2 aluminium sheets coated platinium-white. This triple-layered composite material ensures stability and durability while maintaining a low weight. This makes it also suitable for sheltered outdoor areas or bathrooms for example. It comes ready to hang with aluminium rail wallmount.
using the in-context view (in a home interior) will give you a pretty good idea what the final product is about.
