Original artwork description
Water color on rough cotton art paper; the face of Meena Kumari from her magnum opus - "Pakeezah"; considered one of the finest actors in Bollywood and a star whose dazzling trajectory ended at age 38 - with my portable kit including water color set and small sized paper binder. I love travel but miss painting when I am away from the studio - I decided to carry this little kit to make small water colors of travel impressions or just stuff when I away. The Jet Lag Diaries were mostly painted during late night in the aftermath of long international flights.
