This is one of a series that I am doing based on riders on the New York subway. I am always looking to create an emotion. In this case it seems to be tired and bored... anxious to get home.

BEEN A LONG DAY is a one-of-a-kind, original work of art. The painting is signed on the front and comes with a signed certificate of authenticity.
I work exclusively with India ink and acrylic paint on 4 mil archival grade mylar. the acrylic for the background work and the India ink for details.
All of my artwork has a clear protective coating applied so that it is not necessary nor desirable to put it behind glass.

This painting will be shipped in a 3 inch diameter tube. The painting is very easy to mount on any type of sturdy surface (masonite, plywood, foamboard, etc.). I include simple mounting instructions with each piece that I sell. I also include a hanging strip, repositionable adhesive and a wall hanging device.

If you prefer, I will mount the artwork on ½ inch foamboard with a two inch border all around. It will be “ready to hang”, with a hanging strip attached to the back and a wall hanging device that is very simple to use. It will be shipped in a cardboard box. You may take it out of the box and have it hanging on your wall within five minutes. The extra charge is $50.00 for mounting and packaging plus the additional shipping costs, if any.
