"Jardin des Tuileries - Semi abstract - tribute to Paris", acrylic on stretched canvas, 60X60 cm.
A nearly abstract painting, inspired by the architecture and ornaments of the Garden of Tuileries, in Paris, capital of the France. This famous town on the world is always a fascinating subject for painters.
This urban scene is a remembrance of my journeys in the french capital. Particularly in August, when the sun makes a golden dust envelopping all architectures and ornaments, specially in the Tuileries, near the Louvre, Concorde, street of Rivoli, and champs Elysées. and near the Orangerie where we can see the beautiful floral abstract Nympheas from Monet. In the gardens, the ground is covered with white sand.
The painting is very luminous, made with transparent glazes : blue, green, yellow...
I've used acrylics, and watersoluble wax pastels to draw the details and the sunny spots of light illuminating this artwork.
This is an original painting, ready to hang.
