Jane was inspired by the beautiful forest shores of England, sophie hopes to create the feeling that the viewer is standing on the edge of the shoreline just as a storm begins. It's an intimate and quite moment just before the chaos starts and you can feel the power building foreshadowing what is to come.

Painted on a wood board, by utilising loose and textured brushstrokes Sophie makes this piece feel like a hazy memory, something that is unsure but welcome to the viewer.
