2 - Great Indian Desert is on the north west side of India, also known as Thar desert.

Both will make a good set looking like diptych, same size and color palette, can be decorated as diptych or as single artworks. At some places the oil paint is applied thickly in impasto style to create depth and to add texture to the paintings.
