Original artwork description
I had started this piece before heading back to my home in France, where I was busily working away on several Private Commissions for some clients in the U.K. and Europe. Now just back in the US, I finished this painting and am pleased with the simplicity and straightforwardness of it. Silhouetted Bottles of Flowers, and overlapping Pears, with of course a Bird worked into the composition, are some of my favorite subjects. The canvas is painted around the edges so it can be hung unframed, if preferred.
