Original artwork description
In this artwork, I've encapsulated the serene essence of introspection on a cold day. The woman's contemplative gaze out of the window, accompanied by her feline companion, reflects upon both the chill in the air and the warmth within. My use of acrylics accentuates the contrast between the vibrant indoor life and the stark, leafless trees outside. It serves as a tribute to cozy solitude and the silent narratives that unfold in such tranquil moments. This piece has the power to imbue any space with a feeling of tranquil contemplation and the beauty of hushed winter days.
For texture on the primed canvas before painting, a layer of textured paste with small glass particles is applied and then sanded with sandpaper for smoothness. Dutch acrylic paints Amsterdam and Italian fine-grained cotton canvas Unico were utilized in the creation of this work. The finish is satin varnish, with the ends painted in the background color. Additional framing is not required. I've titled this series "Life in Avatar."
