Artwork description
'Italian Greengrocers' is an original linocut print (NOT a digitally reproduced print).
'Italian Greengrocers' has been drawn and carved into linoleum and hand printed by me using printmaking ink onto Fabriano Unico printmaking paper. This is a lino reduction hand pulled print using multiple colours for this print.
Ten colours in all, including a little added green with some acrylic ink. Love how a little touch of green makes the image complete! This image is inspired by one of the many tempted fruit and vegetable shops you see scattered around the towns in Italy. All the produce look delicious and so tempting!
All prints in this edition are slightly different as I have handprinted them all individually.
The size of this 'Italian Greengrocers' print is 30.5 x 38 cms and the paper size is 35 x 46 cms.
Sold unframed.
The linocut will be sent to you in a reinforced cardboard tube.
