Original artwork description
Painted in acylic over texture pastes and worked over in acrylic glazes on box canvas, Island Aire is very much left open to interpretation. Paul would describe this piece as an abstracted impression and is a take on the wonderful bays and coasal vistas around the hebrides, where turquoise seas are commmonplace, as are the winds, the coastal wilds, and the ever changing oceanic atmospheres. Paul has spent many years staying on the various Islands which has etched a lasting impression on his creativity. At 150cm wide by a metre deep, Island Aire has a real presence in the gallery. Available in white tray frame as pictured for a fee. Please message for details.
