A lovely contemporary painting of three vibrant irises. This is a strong painting that would work well in a modern home or office. It is painted in bold bright colours, and will give a huge pop of colour wherever you hang it!

I have written a detailed step by step blog post for this painting. I explain how it was created step by step. Irises are one of my absolute favourite flowers to paint, due to the massive range of colours available, and the interesting entwined shape of the petals. I am starting to get a good collection of them in my back garden. I also visit many gardens and flower shows during the summer to observe them.

This painting comes ready to hang. It has been covered with a few coats of UV varnish to keep it clean and bright. I actually considered keeping this painting for myself. I have quite a few that I simply love too much to let them go!!!
