There's something truly magical about capturing the quiet beauty of everyday moments, especially when they involve my two greatest inspirations: light and nature. My latest painting, "Irises in Glass," is a testament to this love.

The way the afternoon sun streamed through the window, transforming the simple scene of two irises in a glass jar. The pale blue wall behind them became a canvas for the play of light and shadow,the shadows themselves almost as vibrant life of their own.

It was a joy to translate that ephemeral dance onto canvas, preserving the fleeting beauty of that particular moment.
