Io ti vedo 2 is part of my Soul Mirrors series, where I explore the human face through fragments that become mirrors of the soul. In this work I chose the eye: for me, the gaze is a threshold, a fragment that holds the mystery of identity.

My palette knife technique, layered in pixel-like strokes, breaks the image apart and then reassembles it, as if reality itself were a mosaic in constant transformation. The chromatic contrasts — deep blues, sharp whites, touches of violet and orange — intensify the emotional vibration of the gaze.

When I paint pieces like this, I want to invite the viewer to look within: behind every color and every fragment there is always a living presence, a silent dialogue between the one who looks and the one who is seen.
