Original artwork description
Inverleith pond is in Inverleith Park, Edinburgh. It is near where I live and I often walk there and I know it well. I like to paint places I know well. I have done many paintings of the views from the park but here is one of the pond. There are a group of swans that live there most of the time, and often people stop to feed them, or enjoy observing them. I am currently painting scenes of places in Edinburgh I visit often and that resonate with me. I like to paint people in those places.
