Original artwork description:

I wanted to capture the raw power and spirit of a horse charging through darkness toward the light. In this painting, I chose a frontal perspective to create an intense, almost confrontational connection between the viewer and the horse. The dark background, paired with sweeping strokes of the mane and scattered white flecks, evokes a sense of motion and chaos—like a storm or snow in full fury. I used bold contrasts between light and shadow to carve out the muscles, applying palette knife techniques and loose, expressive brushstrokes to bring out the texture of the coat. My aim was to stir a deep, primal feeling—freedom, strength, and the unstoppable drive forward.
