“Into the Deep” is a work created using the pouring technique. After carefully preparing the colors in cups, the paint is poured and spread on the canvas according to the desired effects.
This is a delicate stage because most of the effects will only appear after drying, so one must mentally envision the final result and act accordingly.
This seemingly simple technique is fascinating because it allows for transparency effects and lines so fine that it would be difficult to achieve them with a brush. A glossy varnish provides the finishing touch.
