This work continues my ongoing exploration of geometric rhythm and structure. Repeated patterns form a visual framework within which a single figure is introduced, creating a moment of pause and contrast without disrupting the underlying order.

The heron is rendered using simplified, architectural lines that echo the geometry of the background while remaining distinct from it. Its extended wings and elongated form introduce a sense of quiet movement and spatial tension, balancing stillness and motion within the rigid grid.

Rather than telling a narrative, the piece focuses on balance, spacing and the dialogue between repetition and presence. The heron becomes a measured interpretation, a moment of breathing space within an otherwise continuous visual rhythm.
