The main feature of the composition are the trees, whose roots were exposed due to the annual flooding of the river. These powerful trunks, like symbols of perseverance and eternal rebirth, rush upward, intertwining branches and forming a green dome above the water. The leaves are just beginning to bloom, adding light greenery to the palette of the painting, which is dominated by brown and gray shades of stones and earth.
