This series emerges from the experience of watching childhood repeat itself through my three-year-old child.
I spend long hours inside a world that I once inhabited myself — a world shaped by fairy tales, animated characters, and simplified explanations of reality.

Unlike childhood, my present is marked by experience, loss, and accumulated trauma. Standing between these two states, I find myself in constant contrast: I recognize the language being formed, yet I can no longer fully believe in it.

In these paintings, fragments of fairy tales appear not as narratives, but as traces of a visual language — one that once made the world understandable and safe. These fragments are layered, partially concealed, and interrupted by heavier painterly structures, reflecting the distance between innocence and knowledge.

The works do not attempt to return to childhood, nor to reconstruct it. Instead, they observe it from the position of responsibility: knowing what lies ahead, yet allowing the story to unfold.

This series is not about nostalgia, but about coexistence — the simultaneous presence of innocence and awareness, hope and memory, belief and silence.
