"Infinity" is part of my Embered series, a collection that explores states of inner warmth, quiet presence, and emotional depth.

Created through a layered process of building, removing, and reworking paint, the artwork reveals traces of its own history. Fragments of earlier layers remain visible beneath the surface, creating depth, texture, and a sense of time.

The composition feels both calm and powerful. Areas of colour emerge, dissolve, and interact in a subtle visual dialogue. Warm magenta and fresh turquoise meet soft apricot, light beige, and deep midnight blue, while shimmering gold and copper accents catch the light and add refined highlights. A richly textured surface gives the painting an almost tactile presence.

Rather than depicting a specific place, Infinity represents a state of being—an immersive moment of stillness, supported by warmth, balance, and inner strength.

The painting was created intuitively using multiple layers of acrylic paint, texture paste, and oil pastel on canvas. As the light changes throughout the day, new details, colours, and textures continue to emerge.
