Under a pale gray sky by the sea’s menthol horizon, a grotesque female figure in a dress with vivid abstract spots. The colors dissolve into a naive, surreal carpet of vegetation, glowing in orange, brick red, dark yellow, menthol and violet. The palette evokes the warmth of “Gypsy Summer,” a Balkan name for Indian Summer, perfectly echoing the work’s radiant intensity.
