“Incompleta Oratio” is an artistic exploration of spiritual and emotional transformation. I was inspired by the fragility of identity and the human desire for transcendence. The image of a woman in silent prayer, partially erased through the transfer process, speaks to the impermanence of self — what remains, what fades, and what is becoming.
I chose photographic transfer on canvas because of its inherent imperfection — it allows the image to degrade naturally, creating visual gaps that mirror inner fractures. I intentionally left parts of the paper layer visible, creating a skin-like veil between the subject and the viewer. This work is meant to evoke quiet reflection and emotional resonance.
